Market sentiment remains "firm and positive", according to Japan Stock Exchange
Tokyo – Natural rubber (NR) futures closed higher in Japan and Singapore last week, with generally quiet trading activities.
In Japan, OSE rubber futures added 2% week-on-week, while SICOM futures grew 2.1% during the trading week ended 27 Jan.
The weekly trading volume in Singapore fell sharply as the Chinese markets were closed for the lunar new year holidays, said Japan’s Stock Exchange in its weekly NR report 30 Jan.
The market sentiment, said JPX, remains “firm and positive” since the Chinese government relaxed travel restrictions and changed its zero Covid policy earlier in January.
SHFE and INE markets resumed trading 30 Jan.
