Latex products are typically used in construction application
London - Univar Solutions BV has been appointed as a distributor for Dow's acrylic emulsion polymer products in the UK and Ireland.
The polymers are included in Dow’s Primal and Ucar latex brand portfolios and are used particularly in construction applications, said Univar in a statement 24 Jan.
uses include ceramic tile adhesives, elastomeric roof coatings, fillers, nonwoven products, and architectural coatings.
The move extends Univar's existing distribution deal with Dow which, among other products, covers Dow’s silicones portfolio including silicone elastomers and silanes.
