Toh Heng Guan takes over as secretary general for a three-year term
Kuala Lumpur – The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) has appointed Toh Heng Guan as secretary general for a three-year term to end of 2026.
Nominated by Singapore, Toh Heng Guan succeeds Mr R B Premadasa, whose tenure came to an end in December 2022.
Toh Heng Guan served as senior officer, standard & conformation at the ASEAN secretariat between 2018 and 2022, where he extended standards from automotive sector to rubber-based and wood-based products.
He is also an honorary advisor to the Rubber Traders Association of Singapore.
The Singapore national holds an MA in southeast Asian studies from the National University of Singapore and a 'circular economy and sustainability strategies' qualification from the University of Cambridge.
