French group to distribute crosslinking peroxides across Europe
Paris – French chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan has entered into an agreement with Nouryon for the marketing of its crosslinking peroxides across Europe, effective 1 Jan.
The new agreement extends a prior partnership which gave distribution rights for Perkadox- and Trigonox-branded additives to Safic-Alcan in the UK, Ireland and Portugal.
Under the new deal, the French distributor can now market the products in Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Benelux, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
The bifunctional organic peroxides are used to crosslink plastics and rubber for "high-quality end products", ranging from automotive parts, hoses, footwear, and power cables.
