Synthetic rubber prices continue fall as butadiene sees 9% drop

London – Synthetic rubber* futures continued to decline during the trading week ended 2 Dec, as butadiene hit a new low with an 8.7% week-on-week drop. (Click on table to enlarge)

According to the latest ChemAnalyst data, collected for ERJ, other commodities also saw a decline in prices, with styrene butadiene rubber posting the largest week-on-week drop at 3.8%.

Nitrile butadiene rubber was the only commodity observed by ERJ to remain flat during the week.
