Datwyler expands executive management to advance sustainability goals

CSO Sabrina Gerard to also overlook uniform global production, quality and processes
Schattdorf, Switzerland – Datwyler has introduced a new executive role which will see the group strengthen its sustainability efforts while improving production processes globally.
Effective 1 Nov, the Swiss polymer group has appointed Sabrina Gérard as its new chief sustainability officer (CSO), with focus on “sustainability and operational excellence”.
In addition to improving performance and efficiency in terms of sustainability, the role will overlook the uniform global production and quality systems as well as processes at Datwyler, said the Swiss group.
Gérard, a Belgian nationa, has been with Datwyler since 2010 and most recently served as the group’s head of sustainability and agility.
She holds a masters degree in biochemical engineering from the University KU Leuven in Belgium.
