Istanbul distributor to have access to full product portfolio, including EPDM, SBR and SSBR
Geismar, Louisiana – Lion Copolymer Holdings has appointed Istanbul-based distributor Arisan Kimya San ve Tic. AS to market its products in Turkey.
The agreement, said Lion in a 1 Nov statement, gives Arisan Kimya access to sell the full Lion Elastomers product portfolio in the country.
This will include Royalene EPDM, RoyalEdge EPDM, RoyalTherm silicone modified EPDM, Trilene liquid EPDM, Trilene FreeFlow EPDM, styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), black masterbatch SBR, Duradene SSBR, Diene polybutadiene rubber and Stereon styrene-butadiene-styrene.
Established in 1988, Arisan Kimya has been active in the rubber industry and has “a strong presence” in industries such as personal care, pharma, food and nutrition, said Lion.
Acquired by Vinmar Group in March 2022, Arisan Kimya represent 40 suppliers and serves over 700 multinational companies.
“As a market leader in synthetic rubber and speciality rubber chemicals, our material science business unit remains a core activity,” said Safak Eryalcin, group manager - plastics, rubber and lubricants for Arisan Kimya.
“Arisan is delighted to be appointed as Lion Elastomers’ distributor and looks forward to many years of successful collaboration,” he added.
