Gurugram, India – Apollo Tyres has appointed Rajasekhara Reddy as the group head, supply chain for the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA) region, the tire maker announced 2 Nov.
Reddy will lead regional supply chain teams and work with stakeholders such as sales, marketing, commercial and manufacturing to improve customer service levels, reduce costs and delivery of supply chain across functional projects.
He is joining Apollo from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he served as VP for global demand planning and logistics.
Prior to that he was associated with Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages and L’Oreal across various geographies.
According to Apollo, Reddy is credited with setting up a “market-focused” supply chain organisation.
