Effective Jan 2023, deal covers selected countries in northern, central and eastern Europe
Hamburg, Germany – German rubber & plastics industry distributor Weber Schaer GmbH has won a deal to market Arkema’s organic peroxides in a select number of European countries.
Effective 1 Jan 2023, Weber Schaer will distribute Luperox- and Retic peroxide brands in Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Rumania and Bulgaria.
The deal represents a "strategic partnership" with Weber Schaer, which "has developed a strong footprint in the rubber market,” said Dr Tino Steurich, Arkema’s organic peroxide leader in EMEA.
According to its website, Arkema's Luperox and Retic organic peroxides are used as crosslinking agents for a wide range of polymers and elastomers, including EPDM, silicone rubber, natural rubber and EVA.
