Precise measurement technology to enhance quality of production and reduce rejects
Hanover, Germany – German sealing products manufacturer Jäger Gummi und Kunststoff GmbH has invested in new test equipment at its plant in Gryfino, Poland, Jäger has announced.
The Jaeger Polska Spó?ka facility, it stated, has recently added a tensile testing machine, a tactile and optical 3D measuring machine and a rheometer for item/raw material testing to its existing range of measuring devices.
Software with the devices is to be connected to Jäger Group's uniform CAQ system, which allows enhanced monitoring and checking of production processes and analysis of quality-related data.
“The aim of using the new measuring devices is to safeguard the production processes and thus avoid rejects and complaints, according to the Hanover-based company.
Precise manufacturing requires precise measuring technology and ever more precise measuring methods in turn enable precise manufacturing processes, noted Henning Kracht, head of QA at Jäger Gummi und Kunststoff GmbH.
“With the new measuring devices, we and our customers have even better evaluation options available,” said Kracht.
The company, he added, is “also able to further increase the level of material quality and reproducibility, while at the same time ensuring significantly more efficient operation.”
