Former CEO Hinterecker joins Kraiburg Holding’s board of directors
Waldkraiburg, Germany – Kraiburg TPE has named Europe Middle East and Africa director Oliver Zintner as its next chief executive.
Effective 1 Jan, Zintner has taken over the top position at the German compounder, succeeding Franz Hinterecker who has joined Kraiburg Holding SE’s board of directors.
Head of corporate purchasing Dr Monika Hofmann is taking over Zintner’s responsibilities, said Kraiburg in a 10 Feb statement.
A “university-trained chemist”, Zintner joined Kraiburg’s management team in 2007 as head of corporate purchasing before taking over the role of director of EMEA in 2010.
Before joining Kraiburg TPE, he worked for companies such as Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Huntsman.
Also a university-trained chemist, Hofmann has been part of Kraiburg TPE’s management team since 2012.
Franz Hinterecker, who is taking on new responsibilities at Kraiburg Holding SE, joined Gummiwerk Kraiburg GmbH & Co. KG in Waldkraiburg in 1986 and has managed Kraiburg TPE since 1999.
“Customers’ requirements for TPEs are increasing, and Kraiburg TPE’s quality, service and worldwide network have become established and are appreciated,” said Hinterecker.
“Kraiburg TPE has a stable position in this market environment and it’s a good moment to hand over the operational business after 23 years,” he added.
