Cabot standardises data recovery software

San Francisco, California -- Cabot Corp. has standardised on Acronis

True Image Server 8.0 for Windows, the latest version of Acronis' disk imaging, disaster recovery and bare-metal backup and restore

utility.

In a statement, the software supplier said, "The software allows systems administrators and network managers to image servers without impacting system performance or causing user downtime. Features of the Windows Server version include the ability check the disk image integrity before restore and file system integrity after restore, to exclude paging/hibernate files from the disk image, and assign the priority for the disk imaging process. As a result, system administrators can manage the server performance balancing between the backup process and server applications."
