ASV inks five-year supply agreement with Caterpillar

Grand Rapids, Minnesota -- ASV Inc. has signed a five-year agreement effective 1 Nov. with construction equipment giant Caterpillar Inc. for the supply of its rubber track undercarriages.

The new supply agreement builds on the two companies´ original alliance, which expires 31 Oct.

Under the terms of the pact, Caterpillar will purchase from ASV 100 percent of its undercarriage requirements for current and specified future Caterpillar multi-terrain loaders. ASV will be able to sell its rubber track undercarriages to other equipment manufacturers for machines that do not compete with Caterpillar's MTLs.

ASV also will continue to use Caterpillar components in the manufacture of its products.
