US-based GPG offers 2005 industry benchmarking survey for sale
Washington, DC -- The US-based Rubber Manufacturers Association's General Products Group has released its 2005 Industry Practices and Performance Survey, which provides current industry data on domestic manufacturers of belting, hose, seals, roll covering and other moulded and extruded rubber products.
Key findings of the 2005 report include: a continuing increase in offshore manufacturing capabilities, steady increases in all material costs, and demands for greater price reductions from automotive customers.
The report includes information on company demographics, finance, research and development, health and safety, human resources, production, quality, customer relations, overseas trade, E-business and growth projections, the RMA said.
Electronic and paper copies of the report are available for $199 to RMA members and $499 to non-members. Orders may be placed on-line or by contacting the RMA (see link below).
