Bridgestone's acquisition of Bandag passes regulatory hurdle

Muscatine, Iowa - Bandag, Inc. has received notice from the Federal Trade Commission that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, is now over, thus clearing the proposed acquisition of Bandag by Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. (

Regulatory approval came about 10 days earloier than the statutory period.
