SRI to raise tyre prices globally

Kobe, Japan -- SRI Tire Trading Ltd. will increase the export prices of the Dunlop, Falken, Sumitomo and Ohtsu brand tyres for passenger cars, light trucks, trucks and buses and motorcycles in the markets of Asia, Near and Middle East, North America, Europe, Central and South America, Africa and Pacific nations.
The price increase will begin from November but specific dates depend on markets. It will be in the range of 5 to 10% mostly, approximately 15% at the maximum, depending on tyre categories, sizes and markets.
The company blamed the increases on raw material cost increases.
