DuPont to keep Hypalon plant open into 2010

Beaumont Texas -- DuPont Performance Elastomers has said it expects to continue running its plant making Chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CSM) materials, until at least the first quarter of 2010. The plant makes materials under the Hypalon and Acsium trade names.
DPE said in an statement to ERJ that it has been consulting with customers adding, " The extension timing will be revisited on an ongoing basis."
