NR prices on 8 August - sharply down on stock market falls

London -- On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract moved down by yen 20 0ver the weekend, trading at yen 370.5 ($4.76 per kg on Monday 8 August. Shorter-dated prices were also sharply down at yen 366.

In Singapore, SGX said trading was quiet, with January 2012 deliveries also trading down at $4.73, some $0.08 down on Friday. TSR 20 for delivery in December 2011 was trading down around $0.3 at $4.60.5.

In India, the NMCE saw September deliveries down by 4 rupees at around Rs 207 ($4.60) per kilo

In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices down bya fraction of a yuan, with August deliveries trading at around Yuan 33.3 ($5.18) per kilo
