Tehran – Japanese tire-maker Bridgestone Corp. has started distribution of its products in Iran, through Arian Tire Pouya, an official representative of the Bridgestone brand.
In a statement provided to ERJ, the company said it intended to market passenger and commercial tires in Iran through Arian Tire’s network.
At the initial stage, Bridgestone is introducing four PCR categories of products: Ecopia, Turanza, Potenza and Dueler in Iran in addition to “various products” for commercial vehicles.
Arian Tire Pouya is expected to expand Bridgestone’s reach across Iran by March 2018 through sales and service points.
According to the Iranian Ghatreh news website, in the future, the distribution could be extended to Firestone and Daton brands too.
Ghatreh went on to say that Bridgestone will offer a five-year guarantee on its products, which are expected to be 20% higher in terms of price compared to South Korean imported tires such as Kumho and Hankook.
