Fridingen, Germany –Desma is expanding its production capabilities by building new production halls in Fridingen and Slovakia, the rubber injection moulding machine company announced 1 June.
The market-driven expansions, which increase Desma‘s total machine assembly area from 24,000m2 to 26,000m2, include a fourth production hall at Desma Slovakia in Považská Bystrica.
The extension has now been inaugurated following a construction period of three months only, said Desma, adding that a new assembly hall was also now being built at its German base.
“The concept of the new hall does not only address the increase in production capacity but also new technologies which serve to optimise process structures,“ Desma managing director Martin Schürmann said in the announcement.
