Alf Blomqvist declines re-election to chairman of the board ahead of AGM
Stockholm – Scandinavian Enviro Systems’ (Enviro) chairman of the board of directors Alf Blomqvist has announced that he is not available for re-election in the upcoming AGM on 10 June.
Alf Blomqvist has served as Enviro’s chairman since January 2018, and has been credited for guiding the company through “significant growth and development.”
Over his eight years of leadership, Blomqvist said Enviro transformed “from a small, listed start-up to a leading strategic position within circularity for the tire industry.”
“It is time to hand over the baton to a new chairman,” he added in a 17 April statement.
Stating that Enviro was progressing with the first full-scale plant and the European roll-out of its waste tire pyrolysis technology, Blomqvist said “it feels good to hand over to someone that can support Enviro through that next phase.”
The company has initiated a search for a new chairman and will announce the appointment during the AGM.
