Yokohama Rubber announces organisational change in North America

Jeff Barna promoted to YCNA president & CEO as Shinichi Takimoto returns to Japan with new responsibilities.
Santa Ana, California – Yokohama Corp. of North America (YCNA) has announced key leadership changes, effective 28 March.
As part of the reorganisation bid, Jeff Barna, president & CEO of US subsidiary Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) was promoted and will now also serve as president & CEO of YCNA.
He succeeds Shinichi Takimoto, who served as chairman and CEO of YCNA for nine years, and his duties will also cover Yokohama Canada (YTV) and Yokohama Mexico (YTMX).
Takimoto will assume the roles of head of Japan tire business division and head of OE tires sales & marketing division for Yokohama Rubber Co. (YRC) in Tokyo.
Stan Chandgie, currently serving as YTC chief operating officer (COO), will also serve as YCNA COO. In this expanded role he will add YTV and YTMX to his management responsibilities.
