Linglong Tire opens first 'training centre' outside China

Chumphon, Thailand – Linglong Tire has opened its first overseas 'training centre' in Thailand in partnership with Sanguan Yangyont Chumphon Co. Ltd.

The facility will support the group’s training and support activities and enhance service standards, Linglong said in a 24 March release.

The unit spans 2,000m2 offering retailers and customers “a professional and high-quality brand experience, including a customer lounge and an experience café.”

The facility features a training area, conference rooms, and “fully equipped” workshops and a service area with an integrated Linglong brand shop.

Courses include tire-fitting, balancing and wheel alignment, as well as training in sales and maintenance of accessories such as batteries, brake pads, etc.

The center “is a critical building block for Linglong's strategic expansion in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Linglong VP Xu Yongchao.

The goal, said the executive, “is to use this platform to establish service standards and standardised training for service providers and dealers.”
