Alabama-based business focuses on US domestic market, recently expanded to Mexico
Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) has signed an agreement to acquire CRC Distribution, a US-based distributor of polymer sealing solutions.
Based in Robertsdale, Alabama, the company also specialises in sealing related services in hydraulics, hydropower, oil and gas, as well as for pumps and compressors.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen customer offering, particularly toward mid-sized manufacturing companies and businesses focused on maintenance, repair, and operation of industrial equipment, said TSS president Juergen Bosch.
The transaction, the value of which was not disclosed, is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025, said Trelleborg 21 Oct.
With annual sales of SEK170 million (15 million), CRC is primarily focused on the domestic US market and has recently expanded into Mexico.
