Association promotes digital standardisation and sharing of tire data to industry
Neu-Isenburg, Germany – Hankook Tire has recently become a full member of the ‘global data service organisation’ (GDSO) for tires and automotive components.
According to Hankook, its membership of the organisation, since July this year, emphasised commitment to advancing the tire sector through technical innovations.
With the membership, the Korean tire maker said it will provide “reliable and accurate data” for GDSO’s tire dataspace, to help advance the standardisation of data processing.
Established in 2022, GDSO is a collaborative platform that aims to standardise data-related aspects around tires and the automotive sector.
GDSO also promotes the easier sharing of data in the tire and automotive industries, offering manufacturers and other players in the value chain access to sector-specific data systems.
