Stanek to join Vienna-based group from Greiner AG, where he currently serves as group COO
Vienna – Semperit AG Holding has appointed Manfred Stanek as the new chief executive of the Austrian group.
Stanek will join the executive board of the industrial elastomer group on 1 March and take over the role of CEO on 1 April, Semperit announced 26 Sept.
His mandate will run until 29 Feb 2028, said the Vienna-based group in a brief statement.
Manfred Stanek will succeed Karl Haider, whose is stepping down from the role 31 March.
Stanek is joining Semperit from another Austrian company Greiner AG, a supplier of plastic and foam products.
According to a 25 Sept statement by Greiner, Stanek is stepping down from his position as group chief operating officer at the end of the year to pursue new professional challenges.
Stanek joined Greiner in 2016 and served as CEO of Greiner Packaging for over six years. Over the last two years, he was a member of the executive board and COO of the group.
