Kobe, Japan – Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd is investing around Yen1 billion (€6.4 million) in the construction of a new unit at its Shikoku plant in Sanuki City, Kagawa prefecture.
Scheduled for start-up in August 2026 , the two-storey, 2,600m2 facility “will increase job satisfaction of each employee and achieve sustainable growth as a company,” said Mitsuboshi.
The project follows the construction of a fifth operational & facilities building under a mid-term plan to enhance production and logistics capabilities, the belts maker said 30 Aug.
The latest project “will improve the working environment for our employees and create a workplace that is easy and rewarding to work in, thereby increasing our corporate value,” the company stated.
