Taoufiq Boussaid will step down from his role at end of October to pursue new opportunities
Brussels - Bekaert SA has named Seppo Parvi as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective 1 Nov.
He will succeed Taoufiq Boussaid who is stepping down from his role on 31 Oct “to pursue new opportunities,” Bekaert announced 17 Aug.
Parvi, according to Bekaert, has an “extensive, international career” in financial and operational leadership.
He served as the CFO, deputy to the CEO, and Finland country manager at renewable solutions company Stora Enso since 2014.
Prior to that he held “senior leadership roles” at Finland-based Ahlstrom and Huhtamaki.
Taoufiq Boussaid joined Bekaert in July 2019 and has been credited for the group’s improved profitability and cashflow generation, laying “a strong foundation” for sustainable growth.
