Rubber & tire fatigue analysis specialist announces incorporation of Endurica Europe in Luxembourg
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – Endurica LLC, a US-based supplier of software & services for analysing the durability of elastomer materials, has established a sister company in Europe.
Luxembourg-based Endurica Europe SARL has a remit to extend the company’s market presence and expand its capabilities to cover more polymers, including those offering enhanced sustainability.
Jean-Pierre Jeusette has been appointed as executive director of Endurica Europe, responsible for business governance and go-to-market strategy, added a company announcement.
The Endurica Europe executive formerly held positions with Goodyear as vice president of global quality and as general director of the Akron, Ohio-based group's 'innovation center' in Luxembourg.
Among his areas of expertise, Jeusette has specialised in the development of technology for computational tire mechanics and its use in product-development programmes.
The Endurica Europe team also includes business development manager Wes McMinimy, who was formerly a senior product manager with Amazon (ERJ report).
“There's a lot of activity in the rubber industry happening here in Europe,” Will Mars, founder and president of Endurica LLC and president of Endurica Europe SARL, said in a statement to ERJ.
Endurica "is all about durability and connecting parts of the supply-chain that are sometimes very siloed,” stated Mars, noting that its technologies provide accurate product-life predictions “long before” mixing and prototyping.
“With Europe’s emphasis on sustainability, this is the right time and place to expand Endurica’s role to increase the use of more environmentally friendly materials and products,” added Tom Ebbott, Endurica vice president and MD of Endurica Europe SARL.
“We look forward to partnering with European-based organisations and engaging with the top talent in the region to develop and deploy... durability analysis methods to help customers reach their sustainability targets,” concluded Ebbott.
