Rows of 'black logos’ along the length of Linatex sheeting distinguish products from ‘inferior’ materials on market
Glasgow, UK – Weir Group has introduced new branding features to its iconic red Linatex rubber sheets to counter the sale of fake products in the market.
The UK-based group has added ‘four rows of black logos’ along the length of the rubber roll, for distinction from “inferior red rubber products.”
The marking, it said, does not affect the abrasion-resistant properties of the rubber.
The Linatex rubber brand, in production for over 100 years, is made from 95% natural latex using a unique liquid-phase process.
The rubber liners, produced by Weir Mineral Malaysia, are generally used to protect mining equipment from erosive damage.
