Mumbai, India – India’s National Organic Chemicals Industries Ltd (Nocil) is to expand production of rubber chemicals at its manufacturing site in Dahej, India by 20%.
In a 28 March stock exchange disclosure, the Indian supplier said it is investing INR2.5 billion (€28 million) in the project to enhance production at Dahej.
The facility currently has a nameplate capacity of 115 kilotonnes per annum, according to the stock exchange filing.
Utilisation rate at the plant, Nocil added, currently stands at around 65%.
The Indian supplier said the added capacity will help it “enhance presence in both domestic as well as international markets.”
