Has taken over the CEO role at rubber machinery manufacturer from managing partner Dr Peter Schmidt
Hanover, Germany – Rubber equipment major Troester GmbH & Co. KG has announced the appointment of Thomas Holzer as chief executive officer, effective 1 Jan.
Holzer has taken over the CEO role from Dr Peter Schmidt, managing partner at Troester, said a 30 Jan statement from the Hanover-based manufacturer.
The hand-over is part of a strategy “to maintain continuity in the management of the company and at the same time provide new stimulation for the future development of Troester.”
Dr Schmidt will continue to “actively support” Troester as managing partner and CFO, added the global supplier of equipment for the rubber, cable and compounding industries.
Bernd Pielsticker will continue to manage the operational business as chief operating officer, the company’s statement also pointed out.
Holzer, who has been with Troester since March 2021, was previously managing director at Voith, based in Heidenheim, Germany and in the Asia region.
"Our common goal in the management board is to continue Troester's success story and lead the company into new dimensions," Holzer commented in the announcement.
