German machinery maker appints ex-Conti official Ralf Benack as new EMEA extrusion boss
Munich, Germany – Rubber & plastics machinery maker KraussMaffei has named former Continental official, Ralf Benack (pictured) as head of extrusion business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Effective 1 Jan, Benack serves as the managing director responsible for the EMEA extrusion as well as the global technological development of extrusion.
Ralf Benack joins KraussMaffei from Continental AG, where he worked for nearly two decades and most recently led the business with tire management solutions for commercial end users in EMEA.
With a degree in economics, Benack was previously responsible for sales and marketing of Continental truck tires in the Asia-Pacific region as well as project management in R&D for tires.
He brings “many years of experience in leadership positions in EMEA and APAC” as well as “expertise in the conception, sales and implementation of integrated customer solutions”, said CEO Chi Zhang.
“He will lead KraussMaffei Extrusion EMEA into a new phase and further develop the technology together with the global team,” said the CEO who took over the position earlier this month.
