Event in to be held in June will focus on key topics such as sustainability and digitalisation
Cologne, Germany – Tire Cologne 2024 expects to see a 50% rise in the number of exhibitors this year, compared to the 2022 edition of the show.
According to event organiser, Koelnmesse, 90% of exhibition space has been booked at the tire & wheel fair, scheduled to take place 4-6 June.
The event is also expected to see improvements “in terms of quality” with some new tire and service brands taking part in the show.
Brands such as Maxxis, MRF, Vipal and Tech Europe are joining the event this year, said Ingo Riedeberger, director of Tire Cologne, 18 Jan.
This year's edition of the show, according to organisers, will focus on key topics, including sustainability, digitalisation and skilled workers in the industry.
A ‘circular economy area’ at the show has been designated to bring together players operating in this segment.
For instance, AZuR, the ‘alliance for the future of tires’ exhibits with 16 partners in the area.
In addition to tire makers, wheel industry, tire retreading, as well as retail and service sector will take part in the event.
