Latest addition completes range of products including PCR, TBR and OTR tires manufactured at the site
Qingdao, China – Sailun Vietnam has produced the first rubber track at its manufacturing site in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam, the Chines tire & rubber group has announced.
The inaugural rubber track was produced in the vulcanisation workshop of the plant's phase 3, said Sailun in an announcement 4 Jan.
The milestone, said Sailun, makes it the first Chinese company to manufacture a complete range of tires, including passenger car, truck & bus and off-road tires, as well as rubber crawler products.
Sailun said it launched the project to manufacture rubber tracks in Vietnam in May last year, following a “thorough market research”.
The entire project, from industry research, technology introduction, equipment procurement, team formation, and production, was completed in just over seven months, Sailun added.
The first model of the rubber track follows the specifications of the 450X86X58 Maxam MT130, designed for loaders.
In terms of structural design, the track “boasts high strength” and is suitable for a range of machinery, including loaders, excavators, construction machinery, and agricultural equipment, Sailun added.
Furthermore, the track features a new "H"-shaped pattern, providing enhanced traction for loaders.
It also applies a rubber compound that is “more resistant to punctures and cuts”, enabling an extended service life.
