Hike and outdoor footwear manufacturer Merrell has launched a limited edition of hiking and running footwear partially made from excess materials from the production line. The Scrap range features three models: Jungle Moc, Moab 3, and Moab Speed. Each shoe offers a unique pattern, with the uppers made from the brand’s individual leftover material which could otherwise end up in the waste stream. In addition to the scrap textile, Moab 3 and Moab Speed feature Vibram Ecostep Recycle outsole designed with up to 30% recycled rubber.
