Call for input: ERJ High Performance Rubber feature

The September/October 2023 issue of European Rubber Journal magazine will include a feature on high-performance rubber materials.
The report aims to focus on developments in silicones, fluoroelastomers, HNBR, CSM and other elastomers designed for extreme operating conditions.
For this, we are inviting specialists in this field to identify developments likely to offer significant benefits for the industry going forward.
The request – to individuals and companies specialising in materials, additives, machinery, processing and product design – is to reply to some or all of the following points:
- Describe a particular development in the area of high-performance elastomers that, you believe, is particularly significant going forward.
- Why is this technology significant and what is its (potential) importance?
- What is its current development and/or commercial status of the technology?
- What further advances are envisaged for the rubber technology over the next 3-5 years?
- Any other points?
