Updated edition launched just ahead of synthetic rubber institute’s AGM in Boston
Houston, Texas – The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) has announced the publication of the 2023 edition of Worldwide Rubber Statistics.
The publication was launched just ahead of the IISRP’s annual general meeting, 16-19 May in Boston, Massachusetts, for which registration is still open.
Billed as “the world’s leading source for authoritative data about synthetic rubber,” the book has been published annually for more than 30 years.
This year’s edition includes revisions to elastomer plant capacities “as the synthetic rubber market continues to be dynamic,” the industry body noted.
Additionally, IISRP said its Beijing office played a key part in this publication to deliver enhanced intelligence on the Chinese market.
Since the 2021 edition, the publication has been available only electronically on an annual membership basis – the format, thereby, enabling real-time updates.
The IISRP publication provides detailed analysis of capacity by elastomer type, by geographical distribution, and by corporate ownership.
A section on capacities of synthetic rubber production facilities throughout the world, includes details of planned and announced expansions of synthetic rubber plants.
The IISRP is an international not-for-profit trade association with over 60 corporate members, based in 22 countries, that produce 75% of the world's supply of synthetic rubber.
