Butadiene prices fall 6% as all commodities monitored by ERJ take a tumble
London – Synthetic rubber* futures continued to fall during the last week of October, with all commodities registering week-on-week declines throughout the entire month. (Click on table to enlarge)
During the trading week ended 28 Oct, butadiene prices fell back even further posting the sharpest decline at 6%, followed by polybutadiene rubber which saw a 4.2% week-on-week drop.
According to the latest ChemAnalyst data, collected for ERJ, fluoroelastomers as well as nitrile and halobutyl rubbers saw week-on-week declines of well over 2%.
EPDM rubber saw the smallest decrease of just under 1%, while styrene butadiene rubber was down 3.4% week-on-week.
