Tony Lee appointed as head of European operations as Cho takes over in US
London – Kumho Tire has made a number of management changes across its European and North America operations, the Korean tire maker has announced.
In a statement 7 Oct, the company said it had appointed Gangseung ‘Tony’ Lee as the new head of Kumho Tire Europe GmbH, effective 1 Oct.
Lee, previously SVP for global marketing, succeeds Namhwa Cho, who is taking on the role of president of Kumho Tire USA.
Lee joined Kumho in January last year, having previously served as VP of marketing & sales for Hankook Tire Europe GmbH.
At the time, he succeeded Cho who had taken up the position of president of Kumho Tire Europe GmbH.
In its latest reshuffle, Kumho appointed Cho to replace Yongsik Shin, who served as head of the America business division since 2019.
Cho has previously served as the managing director of Kumho Australia and Kumho USA, as well as the SVP of global supply chain management and global marketing.
