We are asking machinery makers, materials suppliers and processors to identify significant elastomer/rubber developments
London - The November/December issue of ERJ magazine will include a feature on how electric vehicles (EVs) are driving technology developments within the elastomers/rubber industry.
For this, we are asking companies to identify specific elastomer/rubber technologies that can/will contribute significantly to the performance and safety of EVs over the next few years.
The request to all elastomer/rubber machinery-makers, materials suppliers, processors and designers/end-users is to supply up to 400 words (in total) on the following points:
- Describe a particular elastomer/rubber technology that, you believe, will have a significant role to play in electric vehicles going forward
- Why is this technology significant and what is its (potential) importance?
- What is its current development and/or commercial status of the technology?
- What further advances are planned for the rubber technology over the next 3-5 years?
- What are the prospects for (further) commercial adoption over the next 3-5 years?
- Any other points?
Please send your replies to the ERJ editor by 27 October.
