Rosehill Highways supplies solid rubber separators from recycled tires
Sowerby Bridge, UK – UK rubber goods manufacturer Rosehill Highways has supplied a series of solid rubber narrow cycle lane defenders and lane separators to New York City for physical protection of local cyclists.
Engineered for rapid installation, the flexible rubber material accommodates curves and undulations while “effectively absorbing impacts,” said Rosehill Highways, part of Rosehill Polymers Group.
The surface-mounted products, Rosehill said, are sustainably manufactured from recycled tire rubber, and is being used globally for creating “safe and secure spaces”.
According to the manufacturer, the “substantial size and strength” of the lane separators make them suitable for creating filter lanes and implementing traffic calming measures on roads with heavy traffic or higher speed limits.
