ZC appoints technical director at European tech centre

Martin Winter to lead tire development, testing for OE, provide regulation guidance
Hanover, Germany – Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber) has appointed Martin Winter as technical director tire development EMEA & Americas at its European technical centre in Hanover.
Winter will work with Martin Wells, VP technical centre & global OE, and Jörn Tietjens, key account manager OE, to support OE project development and compliance with global legal regulations.
He will be leading tire development, testing and corresponding activities related to the company’s OE projects, said ZC in a statement 8 Aug.
He will also be offering technical guidance to all departments on tires, regulations and standards, as well as sustainability.
According to ZC Rubber, Winter has more than 20 years of experience in tire manufacturing and OE developments across major tire companies including Continental, Goodyear Dunlop Tires, Hankook and Sentury.
Before joining ZC, he worked as global technical director OE at Chinese manufacturer Sentury Tire.
“[Winter] has profound knowledge for OE developments with leading OEMs and he can be of great support to the essential processes to establish ZC Rubber as a sustainable partner for the automotive industry in Europe and US,” said Wells.
ZC Rubber opened its Europe Technical Center (ETC) in Hanover in 2021 with the aim to support the company’s global OE projects.
