International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition to be held in September
Kuala Lumpur - The Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) is highlighting activities in the run-up to the 10th International Rubber Glove Conference & Exhibition (IRGCE).
Co-hosted by MARGMA and the Malaysian Rubber Council, the event to be held 6-8 Sept in Kuala Lumpur is being billed as the world’s largest rubber glove event.
On 3 Aug, the organisers will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with major event sponsors, including the world’s top four rubber glove producers and leading companies in the supply-chain.
Under the MoU, the participants will pledge to showcase the latest in product innovations on medical rubber gloves and the personal protective equipment industries.
According to MARGMA, the previous IRGCE held in 2018 had a record 212 exhibitors from more than 13 countries and attracted over 7000 local and international trade visitors.
“The tenth IRGCE to be held in September this year has exceeded this record of participating companies and countries,” the association stated.
IRGCE 2022 is also being organised in association with the Thai Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association and the Indonesian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association.
The event is supported by Malaysian government industry and trade ministries, the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB), Malaysia External Trade Development Corp. and Malaysia Digital Economy Corp.
At the signing ceremony, MARGMA will also present an update and latest information on the rubber gloves industry.
