ISO 50001 certification for passenger car tire operation follows same achievement at plants in China and Brazil
Tokyo – Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI) tire manufacturing and sales subsidiary in Turkey, Sumitomo Rubber AKO Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A?, has obtained ISO certification for its energy management system, SRI announced 21 July.
The Çank?r? province operation achieved ISO 50001, an international standard for energy management systems, with articular focus on continuous improvement in the energy performance of organisations. TÜV Nord Cert GmbH was the certifying body
The Turkish passenger car tire plant is the third factory in the SRI group to obtain ISO 50001 certification, following the previous certification of our factories in Changshu (China) and Brazil.
