Kraton charts performance on key sustainability metrics

Houston, Texas – Kraton Corp. has made progress with the “integration of sustainability throughout the organisation”, the company said in a release about its newly issued 2021 Sustainability Report.

The report outlines Kraton's sustainability initiatives, including progress on its sustainability strategy and new long-term targets for waste, water, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Kraton has also provided information and data on its performance against “critical targets”, and its commitment against key sustainable development goals, as adopted by the United Nations.

In the 19 July release, global sustainability director Nella van der Eerden stated: "We consistently reflect on opportunities to improve our strategy and operations to create a better future for tomorrow.

“This means concentrating our efforts on environmental stewardship, efficiency improvements, and decarbonization in our operations."
