Paris – German military vehicle manufacturer Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) and Michelin have stepped up their collaboration with a new agreement to expand partnership in the field of defence vehicles mobility.
As part of the deal, the two sides will look into discussing ‘further opportunities’ and developing "solutions that respond to customers’ expectations," the German manufacturer announced 27 June.
Future common projects, said RMMV, could include the exchange of customer experiences and coordinated development of tires and other systems.
“This agreement is an important step in paving the way for a more active and diversified collaboration”, said Michael Wittlinger, RMMV CEO.
“Working with Michelin has proven fruitful for a long period of time. Now, we are happy to take the next step together towards deepening the existing bonds.”
Headquartered in Munich, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles is a supplier of defence solutions in the field of logistic land mobility.
A joint venture of Rheinmetall AG and MAN Truck & Bus AG, RMMV's flagship HX family of tactical trucks includes over 15,000 4x4 to 10x10 models.
