Jiande City, China – China’s leading tire maker Zhongce Rubber (ZC Rubber) has relocated its production facility in Yangxi, Jinade City to a town in the same region.
The move was made at the request of the government, and was part of the municipal replanning which envisages a new commercial purpose for the site, said ZC Rubber informed ERJ.
Established in 1970, the Yangxi facility has the capacity to produce 1.8 million bias tires and 1 million all-steel tires annually.
In a 27 April written statement, ZC Rubber said the facility has now been moved to a brownfield plant in Chunqiu Village, Xiaya Town, Jiande City.
The Xiaya plant has the capacity to produce 10.5 million units of truck & bus radial tires per year, according to the company.
