Growth in rubber equipment business and new chemical industry subsidiary
Qingdao, China – MESNAC Co. Ltd achieved a 76% year-on-year increase in operating revenue in 2021 to Yuan5.43 billion (appx. €790 million), the tire & rubber machinery maker’s recently released annual report shows.
Operating profit came in 42% higher at Yuan147 million, while ‘net profit attributable to shareholders of listed company’ rose 49% to Yuan141 million.
MESNAC linked the gains mainly to “continued growth of [its] rubber equipment business, as well as the revenue growth of the new chemical industry subsidiary.”
According to the company, last year it overcame the adverse impact of the epidemic, while its rubber equipment business managed to maintain organic growth.
The machinery maker said its modular manufacturing of products, processes and elements helped it improve product quality and delivery efficiency rate.
Furthermore, MESNAC said it continued to increase investment in research and development of new products and new technologies.
The Tire & Rubber Machinery Survey 2022, in the May/June issue of ERJ magazine, will include in-depth analysis of this global sector.
