Finnish rubber manufacturer says it is experiencing "rapid growth"
Poznan, Poland – Reka Rubber Polska, part of the Finnish Reka Group, is expanding with the construction of a new warehouse in western Poland.
The manufacturer of rubber products and rubber & silicone hoses has started construction work on the warehouse at the MLP Pozna? West and expects to finish the project at the beginning of the second quarter.
The ‘modern warehouse’, spanning 2,000 square metres, is being built based on sustainability assessment method BREEAM, said Reka in a 27 Jan statement.
Amongst other features, the warehouse will be equipped with interactive LED lighting, which will enable adjusting the way the lamps work.
The lighting system uses daylight harvesting and presence sensors and can be controlled automatically.
The unit will also benefit from photovoltaic solar panels installed by the MLP Group at the investment park.
Established in Dopiewo in 2004, Reka Rubber Polska said it is “experiencing rapid growth and is expanding its sales markets.”
The company is focused on selected industries, including moulded rubber to metal products and rubber profiles.
